The Foreign Languages Department coordinates the foreign languages programmes within ANIMV, with a focus on international and niche languages. The programmes are implemented at bachelor’s and master’s level, also providing advanced and specialized language courses for the Romanian Intelligence Service personnel.
The language teaching approach is modern and interdisciplinary, tailored to the specific Academy study fields: psychology, security studies and intelligence analysis. Teaching is both traditional and e-learning.
Language courses take place in multimedia laboratories, equipped with high-tech, audio-video devices. Laboratory courses’ purposes are to develop, strengthen, and improve the skills for understanding the spoken language, as well as a correct and fluent speaking in a foreign language.
The Foreign Languages Department is also managing the MVNIA students and the SRI personnel selection to establish their language skills, according to CEFRL (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
